Before there was a camera, there was a Boys & Girls Club gym.

For more than a decade, I worked in youth development, community partnerships, and the kinds of everyday moments that rarely get the spotlight—but deserve it. I watched kids show up on their hardest days. I saw what a single caring adult, or a single opportunity, could change. That chapter shaped how I see people, how I tell stories, and how I approach every project today. It taught me that opportunity changes lives, and that the right story—told the right way—can move people to trust, connect, and take action. Those aren't marketing buzzwords to me. They're the thing I spent a decade watching happen in person.

That mindset is the foundation of Gavin (Bison) Media.

So… why “Bison”?

"Bison" started as a middle-name joke from a group of teens and stuck hard enough to become part of my identity. Over time, it became more than a nickname. It became a standard: strength, consistency, and purpose—even when nobody's clapping yet. A bison doesn't turn away from a storm; it walks straight into it. That's the same energy I bring into every production: show up, do it right, and create something that actually makes an impact—whether it's day one of a project or the hundredth deliverable nobody sees me sweat over.

Based in Janesville, Wisconsin, and working across Wisconsin, Illinois, Hawaii, and anywhere the right project takes me, I create high-end visual assets for organizations, brands, and events that want more than average content—work that looks professional, feels authentic, and performs in the real world.
